Masroor Jehangiri

My name is Masroor Jehangiri, and I was born in Pakistan in 2003. I spent the first eleven years of my life there before my family moved to New York in 2014. We first lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn before eventually moving to Staten Island. I graduated from Susan E. Wagner High School and continued my education at the College of Staten Island. I originally started as a Business major before realizing it wasn't for me and switching to Computer Science in Fall 2024.

Outside of academics, I have had pretty much the same few hobbies for most of my life: gaming, reading, soccer, and Formula 1. When I was younger, I wanted to play soccer professionally, and the sport has stayed a huge part of my life. I became a fan during the 2010 World Cup, later came across Ronaldinho highlights, and fell in love with FC Barcelona — which naturally led to becoming a Lionel Messi fan.

Gaming has followed a similar path. I played Fortnite competitively and now spend most of my gaming time playing Valorant with friends. I also love reading and currently own around 60 books, most of which I have finished. Formula 1 is another interest that goes back to childhood because my father used to watch it, and I have supported Red Bull since the Sebastian Vettel era.
